Proper ladder placement: Ladders should be placed on a stable surface and secured to prevent movement.

Maintain three points of contact: Workers should maintain three points of contact with the ladder at all times (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand).

Use fall protection: Workers should use fall protection when working from heights, such as a harness or guardrail system.

Training: Employers should provide training on ladder safety to all workers who use ladders.

•      All working personnel are to wear required PPE at works to make more Compliance.

•      Wear the goggles’ without fail wherever you go at site premises.

•      Wear ear plugs in high noisy area ( e.g compressors, Generators, Cutting Machines ).

•      Do not use Black glasses inside building; it may lead you to poor visibility and results injuries. 

•      If you do not wear glasses anytime, there is possibility of injuries by sharps/ hitting objects/ spill materials.

•      Paint working personnel are to use appropriate masks.

•      Do not remove the helmets unless in PPE free Zone.

•      Hi-Vi jackets are very important. Wear always specially while accessing the vehicle crossing/movement areas.

•      Replace the defective shoes, glasses , Hi –Vi –Jackets immediately.

•      Defective shoes may cause feet injuries, shock when electrical leakage at wet conditions.

•      Avoid eye injuries and make Compliance. You only get a pair of eyes KEEP YOURSELF SAFE.

LADDER SAFETY:

•  Always maintain a 3-point (two hands and a foot, or two feet and a hand) contact on the ladder when climbing.

• Keep your body near the middle of the step and always face the ladder while climbing.

• Whenever you are going to use the ladder make sure that someone is with you to hold the ladder.

• Holding person should also maintain  3-point contact (two hands and a foot on step).
